Ballantines 21 years Ceramic Decanter
A very stately looking 21 year old Scotch Blend in a blue Wade Decanter, that would be an impeccable addition to any decent bar.
Ballantines is a well recognized blend that has its origins in 1827, when George Ballantine set up a small grocery store in Edinburgh supplying hooch to his friends and family. Over the years his sons joined and a few generations later the brand was sold to one of the giants of the day, Hiram Walker. Things went into overdrive then with the purchase of Glenburgie and Miltonduff, and these two eminent malts have been part of Ballantines success ever since.
Nose: Rich, honey-sweet with hints of apple and floral aromas.
Palate: A smooth balance of rich liquorice and aromatic spice.
Finish: Long and mellow with hints of dried fruit.
