Benriach 1988 20 years Gaja Barolo Finish Single Malt

This is a very special bottle of Whisky, distilled before Billie Walker made his purchase of the distillery but discovered by him and bottled up as a single cask release.

One of 322 bottles this is a very sweet one, Gaja Barolo being the famous Vineyards in Northern Italy.

Nose: red fruit marmalade. Nice hints of tangerine. Milk chocolate and toffee. Figs. Hints of old roses and honeysuckle. Very fragrant and fresh.

Mouth: the fruits and the chocolate keep lingering. Toffee and natural caramel. The grapes stay strong.

Finish: Warm and cosy, long wine finish, very toasty
