Bladnoch 10 years Bourbon Cask.

This very upmarket Lowland Single Malt from Bladnoch was bottled in 2017, celebrating their 200 years of existence.

Bladnoch has had a turbulent past, and has spent many decades lying fallow, without producing any malt.

Once owned by Bells, Bladnoch was bought in 2015 by Australian businessman David Prior who loves Yogurt, and good Whisky of course.

The Adela 10 Year Old expression is crafted using whiskies matured in Bourbon Barrels and it is a fine example of the modern Bladnoch. Expect lots of Fruit, and less grass than you may remember from earlier maltings of the 1990’s.

In 2019 Dr Nick Savage joined Bladnoch Distillery as Master Distiller. Nick has formerly worked for William Grant & Sons and as Master Distiller of The Macallan. Good things are about to happen at Bladnoch.
