Cardhu 12 Year Old 1980’s

Cardhu Single Malt, a wonderful distillery that produced Malt so elegant and speyside-licious  that Johnnie Walker (Alex 11, Johnnie, alas, was dead) made a move on it, their first Distillery of Five.

Over the course of the next 40 years Johnnie Walker became the Giant Striding Man, and is owned by Daigeo now, along with 29 other Distilleries.

This is an interesting addition to any collection, Cardhu’s history is as full as their whisky. Pure Malt indeed.
