Chequers Blended Scotch Whisky (1960’s)

This is a blend by John McEwan distilleries, and was a standard in the US.  A series of lavish adverts in Life magazine in the late 1960’s helped educate the American Palate to fine, Superb Deluxe Whisky of the Scotch variety.

Linkwood is the core malt in this bottle, a lovely Speyside Distillery that has been in the hands of Blenders since forever. A few official expressions are out there. A wonderful fruity dram.

A great collectors item, unusual and in perfect condition. The box is a little worn.
