Glen Grant 23 Years distilled in 1968

A very well aged bottle of Glen Grant laid up in 1968, bottled by Gordon and Macphail. This malt will be heavily sherried as was the way with Glen Grant in the mid 1900’s. G and M and Glen Grant have an impeccable relationship that goes back more than 100 years.

Gordon and Maccphail was founded in 1895 as a grocery store and wine merchant. In the early 1900’s the company focused on developing their whisky business, and made a number of bottling and distribution agreements with distilleries of the day.

Over the years G and M earned accolades and respect as bottlers and masters of marketing and distribution. Macallan, Glenlivet and Glen Grant are just three of the brands that G and M helped to introduce to the world.
