Glen Keith 1992 21 years Single Barrel whisky by Signatory Vintage

An unusual and very special whisky, Glen Keith is located in Keith in Speyside. Created by Chivas in the mid 1950’s Glen Keith is the literal Grandchild of Strathisla, also owned by Chivas and across the road. The heart of the brand is similar and the spirit is sweet and floral.

A single bourbon barrel, 60% alcohol this is a big whisky, perfect for a long evening of cards or conversation.

Nose: Jamaican rum, barley sugars, vanilla bean, shortbread, fresh flowers, honeysuckle.

Palate: Sweet, slightly waxy, good mouthfeel, buttery, malty, honeyed bread, light orange citrus.

Finish: Gentle waves of spice, vanilla, Sugarcane, medium long finish, touches of allspice, slight orange zest.

Not a famous brand, but an excellent whisky that will make you forget… almost everything.
