Grand Macnish blended Scotch whisky

This is an old bottle of blended scotch whisky from the very end of the Golden blending era.

In fact Grand Macnish was created in 1863, at the very beginning of that era as a light, fragrant Highland style blend. The blend has become one of the oldest, continuously available Scotch whiskies in the world.

Ernest Hemingway, a prolific  writer and well respected alcoholic, thought that Grand Macnish was the business and even told other folk about it, in books and the like.
