Knockando 12 years 1975 single malt

Knockando Distillery was founded by J. Thompson in 1898 using the new invention of electricity, the first of its kind. He was certain that, at least, the distillery would not explode in a ball of fire as so many neighbors had done.

He did however go bankrupt and the stills were sold off within the first decade to Gilbey’s of London’s dry gin fame.

It was 1962 when the ‘modern’ love affair between this Scottish Princess and London’s Justerini and Brooks began.

Knockando 12 years annual release is a great collectible whisky that showcased the honeyed heart of the J & B blend.
