The Peatmonster

Compass Box Blending Merchants was founded in 2000 by John Glaser, who has a long history in the blending business and he has created the most exciting place for blended lovers like us to be.

This Peated Monster contains Laphroaig and Caol Ila. The dark and mysterious peat is balanced out by a small amount of Compass Box’s Highland Malt blend (Teaninich, Clynelish and Dailuaine) and aged in French oak.

The company prides itself on its boundary-pushing approach to its creations, and on occasion, boundary-crossing creations, such as ‘Stanger and Stranger’ which has a tiny amount of new spirit in the Blend of very aged whisky, making it impossible to be called whisky. Pure Art.

We think that the Compass Box guys are amazing, each and every whisky is a masterpiece.
