Something Special De Luxe was a Scotch blend
Hill, Thomson and Co. 1793 opened a grocer in Edinburgh, though by 1799 it was such a success that they moved to larger premises and over the course began bottling and eventually distilling whisky.
Queen Anne is one of their more famous brands.
This bottle and label is in perfect condition, with the little note still inside to address to that someone special. The box is in good condition and has no blemishes.
Something Special carries the Royal Seal, so it certainly was something special at the time.
