Tobermory 18 year Single Malt

An luxury bottle of single malt from the Tobermory distillery of Mull, the only distillery on the Isle.

Like so many others of that time Tobermory was founded and closed, mothballed and sold, rebuilt and renamed and finally abandoned and turned into holiday flats.

In 1993 Burn Stewart and co. bought the buildings, gave notice to the holiday makers, retooled and started producing the gold stuff once more.

This expression is hard to find, and is a great whisky to break out with whisky loving friends.

Nose: Golden syrup, pineapple chunks, toasted walnut, sponge cake.

Palate: Toffee ice cream with chocolate sauce and topped with diced almonds. Yum!

Finish: Fresh barley, black pepper, Refresher Bars.
