Tomintoul 1994 16 years Single Cask

This bottle of Single Bourbon Cask Speyside Whisky was laid up in 1994 and bottled by the Distillers in 2010.

Founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky traders Macleod and Strong, the distillery was intended to benefit from the surge in whisky drinking, presumably the Italians this time. First boom was the Americans, then came the Italians, the continent and old colonies. Now it’s the east and China who cant get enough of the Golden Nectar.
