Wolfburn distillery was a Scotch whisky distillery in Thurso in the 1821 but like so many others was closed for business within a decade. In 2013 a new Wolfburn(ling) was born, on the very foundation of ancestor Wolfburn.

The inaugural whisky was launched globally in March 2016 and has gone on to win three gold medal awards in consecutive international competitions. The distilleries focus is to release smaller batches that’s crafted to perfection rather then mass production.

Wolfburn created this exceptional Pedro Xeminez cask finish, solely for the South African market with only a handful of bottles released. The whiskies are young, rich and full of flavour.

Nose: Strawberry, pungent, cinnamon & sweet watermelon.

Palate: Initially viscous, vanilla sweet & red-berried, then chilli dark chocolate

Finish: Grapefruit and roasted, salted macadamia nuts.
